![]() When you say "wiped everything from the hard disk" do you mean everything or just the Xpand!2 programme & files? When you say "download and install to the desktop" did you actually point the download to the desktop and then unzipped to the desktop and then ran and installed all of the programme/preset/soundfiles on the desktop? If so your default screen must have all of these folders on view! Or did you subsequently move the programme/programme files elsewhere on your system? Or did you let the uninstaller/setup do its own thing from there ('there' being the desktop)? Sorry for being stupid and pedantic simultaneously but Who's Stephen Stills? Something else I need to look up! In the meantime if anyone else can suggest a possible fix it would be appreciated. Gardening, fixing two wheelbarrows, hunting for grandchildren's birthday presents, running around clearing up the mess deposited by a new puppy and watching rugby on the TV (oh yes - it all happens here in rural France) means I haven't had a chance this weekend to revisit the problem on the PC. It's not really preventing me from getting on, it's more of an inconvenience when I open songs on the PC, which were originated on the iMac and included Xpand!2 as I now have to find an alternative voicing. On the subject of London, in response to 'Waterloo' Sunset, I had Xpand!2 loaded and running quite happily with S1 on my iMac but it's failing to function similarly on my new PC. ![]() For some odd reason a kid's purple dinosaur came to mind! Ah - OK, 'bit of a barney', as in a fight or scuffle - that I understand having been born and raised in London, just didn't relate to it in this context.
